Within the scope of VITAL LANDSCAPES, the Landesheimatbund Sachsen-Anhalt (Cultural Heritage Association of Saxony-Anhalt) trained landscape guides and organised regional and international workshops on the topic of cultural landscapes. Furthermore, historical maps of areas in Saxony-Anhalt were digitalized in order to make changes to the landscape in the past more comprehensible in just a few mouse clicks.
